An interesting month full of moods, unexpected behaviour and happenings, as well as surprises, emotion, laughs, talking, listening, meaningful moments and hopefully, understanding. Getting our processes right, whether mental, social, physical or creative, requires constant learning and effort. Rarely do things just magically fall into place. When they do, embrace it and send gratitude back out into the universe. It’s an amazing sensation. The rest of the time, enjoy experimentation and trust that it will all come together. It always does, be patient, enjoy the moment and give it the time it needs. During our winter holiday wander, we stayed in my friends cozy Cherry lane cottage, (thanks Bec & Mick). We roamed around the historical streets of Gulgong, Rylestone and Kandos, found treasures in country op shops, explored Gulgong museum, had a mini violin lesson, feasted on brunches in local cafés and spent the evenings playing $2 Scrabble, solving crosswords, knitting and making textile treats.
My tactile trinkets are like little brooches or amulets made from scraps of fabric, found objects and any bits and pieces you have laying about. Imagine them as little prayer flags or totems and make them as meaningful or personalised as you like. Send them to friends like little wishes. It certainly feels therapeutic making them.

AuthorFor me, it seems there is not much difference between wondering and wandering. It has always helped me find inspiration. Creative dabbling is good for the soul, I couldn't imagine life without it and often surprise myself by what I come up with. Archives
